Principal's Message

Dear McAlister Family, 

It is a great honor to serve as your principal at McAlister High School, the Home of the Resilient, and Empowered Scholars. We are proud of our uniqueness serving pregnant and parenting teens, who have overcome so many challenges, interruptions, obstacles, and define what it means to be strong, what it means to be brave, what it means to be resilient on their own terms, and reach the finish line against all the odds. 

Our students' strength and determination drive us  to create a community with love, empathy, and compassion for our students, families, and the communities. Our programs and our whole child approach highlight our work around Social- Emotional Wellness, Equity and Access, Academic excellency with college and career ready curriculum and instructional support so our students continue to pursue their dreams.
